The Best Form of Dhikr (Remembrance of Allah) is Alhamdulillah
Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him said one of the best way to remember Allah our God is by sayings Alhamdulillah which means all praise and thanks belong to God. Allah loves Hamd (Praise) and Shukr (Thanks) so increase praising and thanking God. Allah is Al Hameed (The Praiseworthy). Allah is Ash Shakur (The Appreciative).
Five Sura’s or Chapters from the Quran start with Alhamdulillah and they are as follows.
Sura Al Fatiha
١ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
1 In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful.
٢ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
2 Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds.
Sura Anam
In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful.
١ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَجَعَلَ الظُّلُمَاتِ وَالنُّورَ ۖ ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِرَبِّهِمْ يَعْدِلُونَ
1 Praise be to God, Who created the heavens and the earth, and made the darkness and the light. Yet those who disbelieve ascribe equals to their Lord.
Sura Kahf
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful.
١ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَنْزَلَ عَلَىٰ عَبْدِهِ الْكِتَابَ وَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ لَهُ عِوَجًا ۜ
1 Praise be to God, who revealed the Book to His servant, and allowed in it no distortion.
Sura Saba
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful.
١ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ ۚ وَهُوَ الْحَكِيمُ الْخَبِيرُ
1 Praise be to God, to Whom belongs everything in the heavens and the earth; and praise be to Him in the Hereafter. He is the Wise, the Expert.
Sura Fatir
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful.
١ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ فَاطِرِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ جَاعِلِ الْمَلَائِكَةِ رُسُلًا أُولِي أَجْنِحَةٍ مَثْنَىٰ وَثُلَاثَ وَرُبَاعَ ۚ يَزِيدُ فِي الْخَلْقِ مَا يَشَاءُ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
1 Praise be to God, Originator of the heavens and the earth, Maker of the angels messengers with wings—double, triple, and quadruple. He adds to creation as He wills. God is Able to do all things.
