Story of Prophet Harun
Prophet Harun (Aaron) was a prophet of Allah and the older brother of Prophet Musa (Moses). He was born in Egypt during the time of the Pharaoh, who was a tyrant and oppressor of the Children of Israel. Allah chose Harun as a prophet to assist Musa in his mission to lead the Israelites out of Egypt and guide them to the Promised Land.
When Musa returned to Egypt and asked the Pharaoh to release the Israelites from slavery, Harun accompanied him as his spokesman. The Pharaoh rejected their request and challenged Musa to perform miracles to prove that he was a messenger of Allah. Musa and Harun were granted miracles by Allah, including turning their staffs into serpents and causing a plague of locusts to descend upon Egypt.
Harun played an important role in Musa’s mission and was entrusted with the task of leading the Israelites in prayer during Musa’s absence. However, some of the Israelites became impatient and made a golden calf to worship, disobeying the commandments of Allah. Harun was distressed by their actions and tried to stop them, but many of them refused to listen to his warnings.
Despite this setback, Harun remained faithful to Allah and continued to serve as a prophet to the Children of Israel. He guided them through difficult times and worked tirelessly to help them stay on the right path. In the eyes of Allah, Prophet Harun was a righteous and noble prophet, beloved by his people and praised for his steadfastness and devotion. He is remembered as a model of virtue and piety, and his story serves as an inspiration for all who seek to walk in the path of Allah.
The following Quranic verses mention Prophet Harun
Sura Nisa Ayah 163
163 We have inspired you, as We had inspired Noah and the prophets after him. And We inspired Abraham, and Ishmael, and Isaac, and Jacob, and the Patriarchs, and Jesus, and Job, and Jonah, and Aaron, and Solomon. And We gave David the Psalms.
Sura Anam verse 84
84 And We gave him Isaac and Jacob—each of them We guided. And We guided Noah previously; and from his descendants David, and Solomon, and Job, and Joseph, and Moses, and Aaron. Thus We reward the righteous.

26 And ease my task for me.
27 And untie the knot from my tongue.
28 So they can understand my speech.
29 And appoint an assistant for me, from my family.
30 Aaron, my brother.
31 Strengthen me with him.
32 And have him share in my mission.
33 That we may glorify You much.
34 And remember You much.

35 You are always watching over us.”

92 He said, “O Aaron, what prevented you, when you saw them going astray.

93 From following me? Did you disobey my command?”
94 He said, “Son of my mother, do not seize me by my beard or my head. I feared you would say, `You have caused division among the Children of Israel, and did not regard my word.’“
Sura Anbiya verse 47-50
47 We will set up the scales of justice for the Day of Resurrection, so that no soul will suffer the least injustice. And even if it be the weight of a mustard-seed, We will bring it up. Sufficient are We as Reckoners.

45 Then We sent Moses and his brother Aaron, with Our signs and a clear authority.
46 To Pharaoh and his nobles, but they turned arrogant. They were oppressive people.
47 They said, “Are we to believe in two mortals like us, and their people are our slaves?”
48 So they called them liars, and thus were among those destroyed.
Sura Furqan verse 35-36

33 He said, “My Lord, I have killed one of them, and I fear they will kill me.
