Everything Praises and Glorifies Allah (God)
All praises and thanks are due to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. May peace and blessings be upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). In Islam, everything is meant to praise Allah. From the smallest grain of sand to the largest planet in the universe, everything glorifies Allah’s greatness. We praise Allah for His countless blessings upon us, both apparent and hidden. From the air we breathe to the water we drink, Allah has provided us with everything we need to survive and thrive in this world. As believers, we are constantly reminded to thank Allah for all of His blessings. The Quran says, “If you were to count the blessings of Allah, you would not be able to count them” (14:34). This verse emphasizes the vastness and extent of Allah’s blessings upon us. We praise Allah for His mercy and forgiveness. Despite our numerous sins and mistakes, Allah continues to shower His mercy upon us. In the Quran, Allah says, “And my mercy encompasses all things” (7:156). This verse reassures us that no matter how big or small our sins may be, Allah’s mercy is always greater. We praise Allah for His guidance and wisdom. In Islam, we believe that Allah has provided us with the tools and knowledge we need to lead a successful and fulfilling life. The Quran serves as our guide for moral and ethical conduct, and the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) provide us with a practical example of how to implement these teachings in our daily lives. We praise Allah for His love and compassion. Allah loves us more than we can ever imagine, and He constantly shows us His compassion and care. As the Quran says, “Allah is the most loving of all those who love” (2:195). This verse reminds us that our love for Allah is reciprocated and that Allah’s love for us is limitless. In conclusion, Islam teaches us that everything praises Allah. Every moment of our existence is a reminder of Allah’s greatness and blessings upon us. May Allah continue to guide us and shower us with His mercy and blessings, and may we always remember to praise and thank Him for all that He has given us.
The following Quranic verses mention the fact that everything praises Allah.
Sura Isra Ayah (Verse) 43-44
٤٣ سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ عَمَّا يَقُولُونَ عُلُوًّا كَبِيرًا
43 Be He glorified. He is exalted, far above what they say.
٤٤ تُسَبِّحُ لَهُ السَّمَاوَاتُ السَّبْعُ وَالْأَرْضُ وَمَنْ فِيهِنَّ ۚ وَإِنْ مِنْ شَيْءٍ إِلَّا يُسَبِّحُ بِحَمْدِهِ وَلَٰكِنْ لَا تَفْقَهُونَ تَسْبِيحَهُمْ ۗ إِنَّهُ كَانَ حَلِيمًا غَفُورًا
44 Praising Him are the seven heavens, and the earth, and everyone in them. There is not a thing that does not glorify Him with praise, but you do not understand their praises. He is indeed Forbearing and Forgiving.
Sura Nuur Ayah (Verse) 41
٤١ أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ يُسَبِّحُ لَهُ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَالطَّيْرُ صَافَّاتٍ ۖ كُلٌّ قَدْ عَلِمَ صَلَاتَهُ وَتَسْبِيحَهُ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِمَا يَفْعَلُونَ
41 Do you not realize that God is glorified by whatever is in the heavens and the earth, and even by the birds in formation? Each knows its prayer and its manner of praise. God knows well what they do.
Sura Hadid Ayah (Verse) 1
Iron
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful.
١ سَبَّحَ لِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۖ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ
1 Glorifying God is everything in the heavens and the earth. He is the Almighty, the Wise.
Sura Hashr Ayah (Verse) 1
The Mobilization
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful.
١ سَبَّحَ لِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۖ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ
1 Glorifying God is all that exists in the heavens and the earth. He is the Almighty, the Most Wise.
Sura Saff Ayah (Verse) 1

١ يُسَبِّحُ لِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ الْمَلِكِ الْقُدُّوسِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَكِيمِ
1 Everything in the heavens and the earth glorifies God the Sovereign, the Holy, the Almighty, the Wise.
Sura Taqabun Ayah (Verse) 1
Gathering
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful.
١ يُسَبِّحُ لِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۖ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ ۖ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
1 Everything in the heavens and the earth praises God. To Him belongs the Kingdom, and to Him all praise is due, and He is Able to do all things.
