Welcome to the Prophets of God Motorcycle Ministry Blog written by Billy “Bubba” Sowder, President and Founding Member. Scripture says that God uses the simple things to confound the wise. I find that He speaks to me through all sorts of circumstances and situations.

Much like many other motorcycle ministries, we seek to impact a nation of motorcyclists with the love of Jesus, and hopefully, lead them to a personal relationship with Him. We seek to win a lost nation of motorcyclists to the body of Christ through prophetic evangelism. We desire to minister the word of the Lord by letting them know that a relationship with Jesus is greater than any relationship with man, machine, or organization.

If you love motorcycles and have a heart for the people who ride them, consider the following: Romans 10:14 “ How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed: And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard: And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent?”

Acts 6 says that the Apostles prayed over and commissioned 7 men and sent them out to do the work of the church as the apostles prayed and taught the word. Verse 7 states that as they went out and did signs and wonders, the word of God increased and the number of disciples (believers) multiplied.

We, as Prophets of God, desire to reach others for Jesus. We want to be those who bring the word to the world, and to be the ones sent to do the work after being commissioned and prayed over to reach some of the most fun-loving people in the world, motorcyclists. Our goal is to bring them not religious persecution and authority, but a personal relationship with a loving God who will provide a new joy and will not keep them from “riding the wind.”

Pastors Rodney and Kathy Tolleson of Daytona City Church (http://www.daytonacitychurch.com) and Bill and Kimberly Thomas serve as our immediate covering under Dr. Bill Hamon and help us to maintain our direction and focus on our task.
